Taste of Canada Season 7 will take place in Boston MA on June 5-6, 2017

Taste of Canada is a professional food showcase event designed to help Canadian food suppliers enter the vibrant and highly competitive United States (US) market. The information on this site is to provide buyers with information on the event and the products that will be featured.

The event also provides an opportunity for US retail and food service outlets to find unique products to differentiate themselves from their competitors. Unlike trade shows, this intimate forum provides buyers and suppliers the time to meet, discuss suppliers’ capabilities, share buyers’ needs, and negotiate possible synergies.

Venue: Boston Marriott Burlington, One Burlington Mall Road, Burlington, MA

Canada's Agri-Food Industry
You may not know it, but chances are that no matter where you are in North America, a Canadian food product - or one made with Canadian ingredients – is not far from hand. From food giants such as McCain, Maple Leaf Foods, and Saputo, to small and medium-sized exporters, the food industry in Canada is one that is undergoing sweeping changes. Pushed by strong demand in Canada and abroad, the food industry is responding to changing consumer tastes. The variety and sophistication of Canadian food products reflects just that. Palate-pleasing bison sliders, high-fiber pasta, fresh traditional Indian and Asian dishes, organic mango chicken to specialty hors d’oeuvres and fine desserts are becoming mainstream. You too will want to try tasty dishes from Canada.

Canada is becoming a leader in supplying food products to niche markets worldwide. Canada enjoys a great reputation around the world for the safety and high quality of its food products. With abundant water supplies, research facilities and wholesome, carefully grown ingredients, Canadian companies are developing and implementing cutting-edge technologies to produce nutrient-rich natural health products, innovative functional foods and trustworthy health ingredients.
