Equipment Safety

You are not going to win any wrestling matches against several tons of steel. Even though you may not be stronger, you can be smarter. Use your advantage. If you don't follow the manufacturer's operating procedures and safety precautions, you're an accident waiting to happen.

Power and gas lines with farm equipment can be a deadly combination. Know where all the gas lines are before you dig. Keep all equipment away from power lines. All it takes is one touch to be electrocuted. And always watch where you drive, especially when other people are around -- particularly the little ones. Click on the image below to bring up an 8.5 x 11 printable poster.
